This is not a real old movie. Maybe starting Treat Williams, he kills wife sets it up to appear she falls down a stairwell. Step-daughter doesn't buy this story, but his children believe him. Turns he also killed another lady the same way......same set up.
His attorney and police or DA goes to Europe to check out the first murder, prior wife flies back to USA to his aid. Anyway he goes to court and is found guilty.
