I'm looking for information about a movie or show but can't remember a lot.

Question

I can't remember if it was a tv show or movie. But it was about a girl who lived in an orphanage and was working in the kitchen. I believe it was based in the depression area. The thing is is she comes from a family with a lot of money but I believe they are missing so she's placed in this orphanage. I'm sorry I can't remember much more I was in a bad accident and have a memory issue from my head trauma. Thanks for your help.

are u sure it was an orphange and not a school for girls. kinda sounds like the movie called The Little Princess.

I'm not sure, it may have been a school for girls. I just have little flashes of the movie because I lost my memory due to a car accident and severe head trauma. I just really want to find the movie, I'll try to look up The Little Princess and see if that's it. Thanks a bunch, I'll let you know either way. :)
