I read on Collider that he wants out because he doesn't want to film in England, which is bizarre since all the Star Wars films were shot there. Did he just not think about that when he signed the contracts?
If he does move on I'd be excited to see Matthew Vaughn or Duncan Jones take the reins. That series needs a director with a vision, not just a director for hire!
